Lister MSCP
Vinci construction have placed an order with KILLELEA for a large multi-storey car park at Lister Hospital in Stevenage. The MSCP has 9 floors and originally weighed-in at 1330 Tonnes. Once we received the information from the main contractor we were of the opinion that we could reduce the main frame material weight considerably.
Our engineers set about redesigning the frame and have managed to reduce the overall frame weight by over 400 tonnes. The savings in material alone are considerable. Our experience in this field and our extensive knowledge of economical design have ensured the main contractor has a premium structural steelwork solution, without the premium price tag. Steelwork is set to commence on site in mid December 2010.
