Waterhead Academy, Oldham

Waterhead Academy designed by Aedas, replaces the current Waterhead Academy and will open in November 2012.  It will include indoor and outdoor sporting provision available to all the local community – including a fitness and activity studio, floodlit artificial 3G pitch and hard surface areas for football, netball and tennis.

This new contract follows the Oasis Academy Oldham placement by Willmott Dixon with KILLELEA on the site of the former Brook Mill in Hollinwood.

Waterhead Academy is in excess of 1000 Tonnes of KILLELA Strucutral Steelwork and the package placed also includes the supply and installation of almost 16,000m2 of metal decking and pre-cast concrete stair case units.

KILLELEA are thrilled to be working with Willmott Dixon again on this new and exciting venture.
